My 2-3 year old tree, purchased in June 2006, has now adjusted to our strange Irish climate and seems happy. Trees in Sth. Ireland generally, are known to grow several times faster then in the UK, due in part to the mild Gulf Stream weather. I'm hoping that my Wollemi will adopt to this native pattern and be exploding out of its pot next year! It has a curious method of growth - alternating between apical and lateral extension. Has anybody else noticed this tendancy?to
