I first saw a real live wollemi pine at Kew, although I'd ordered one as soon as they became available in the UK. At the end of may (07) I planted it out in my garden, it seems to have taken well to its new spot and it's already put on about a foot of growth in semi shade. I've erected a small mesh fence around it to protect it from rabbits,also I've set some rocks around it and planted some ferns to make it feel at home. I grow many other kinds of conifer but this one takes pride of place !
