Re: The Waiting is Over
by
Gwyddor
I'm keen to plant a Wollemi pine in my garden, having been to Wollemi national park and having seen a Wollemi pine in Sydney botanic gardens. I can understand why such a rare tree is expensive to buy in UK (£97.00 for 40cms) compared to Australia (40cm tall from A$69.95)
but it doesn't compare with the USA price where you get a 10 foot specimen for US$99.95. I don't want to sound negative about this great opportunity to aquire a very special tree but why the big price and specification difference between USA and UK?
