The first female cone has been spotted on a Wollemi Pine at our nursery in Cornwall. The cone is on a tree that stands at about 3 metres tall and is about 11 years old and was imported from Australia in 2006. We have seen numerous male cones but this is the first female cone. It could mean that we are not too many years away from the first Wollemi Pine seedling.
