An Illustrations by John Pastoriza as part of an article published in Curtis's Botanical Magazine (Wollemia nobilis; vol. 24, issue 3, pages 155-161, published online 17 August 2007). Thank you to Ben Alofs for finding the Illustrations of the Wollemi Pine cones, they show the marked difference between the male and female cone. I have been given to understand that the female cone is produced above the male cone but as of 02-10-08 I have not seen or heard of a female cone being produced in the Northern Hemisphere.
