This tree was planted during the children's programme Blue Peter on 28th June 2006 by Chris Collins the Blue Peter gardener. It is probably the most famous tree in the UK as you can see it over the weather presenters shoulder on most mornings during Breakfast News on BBC 1. The tree looks in fine fetal and if you look closley you can see it is in good company with a Ginko tree planted just behind it.
